Let me start off with that the VET's and nurses here were very nice. I took my pet rabbit to be spade and she didn't make it to the procedure itself because she had a reaction to the anaesthetic. I was told she wasn't calm and very stressed. They told me they gave her something to try help and calm her but it didn't work and instead of calling me they went ahead and gave her the anesthetic in the hopes it would knock her out. When i got the call i was distraught, devestated that their lack of knowledge about treating rabbits killed my pet. I was told they don't do check-ups and blood tests before the procedure. If they had they would have known she wasn't ready. I did further research and VET's who specialise in rabbits alone do thorough check-ups and blood test before they do anything for the procedure is risky and rabbits are fragile animals compared to dogs and cats. There is a list online with 10 veterinarians that are fully experienced, specialise and knowledgeable of rabbits within Victoria. If you have a pet rabbit do your research before hand and ask questions regardless they are the professionals.

This story is unbelievable nearly 3 weeks ago my furniture was moved from Victoria Hazlewood North to Albury NSW. That afternoon 1 hour later everyone was looking for my sticky beak Oliver who apparently was helping with the moving of the furniture in and out of the truck. He was know were to be found nearly 3 weeks later so we had all given up and thought he was gone. Tonight my mobile rang it's was The University of Melbourne Vet Clinic in Werribee saying he had been handed in I broke down in shock. I am pleased to say he is in really good shape and would like to thank whoever took the time to bring him home to us, lucky he was microchip otherwise it might not of been the same result. Thankyou xx
